This glue becomes waterproof in 48 hours and you can get in the shower, if you have long hair no one will know you had an operation.

Where are the scars placed?
Incisions are placed behind the ear in the natural crease where they are usually well concealed. Scars mature gradually over several months.
How long is recovery after pinnaplasty?
You will not have a head bandage, just glue as a dressing, which becomes waterproof after 48 hours, so you can get in the shower on day 3. Most patients return to work or school within several days, although strenuous activity and contact sports should be avoided for three months. Swelling and stiffness improve progressively.
Will the results look natural?
The aim of surgery is to reduce ear prominence while maintaining natural ear contours and symmetry. Individual healing and final appearance vary between patients. You can always expect a degree of asymmetry between the two sides of 1-2mm, which is normal.
Can the ears become prominent again?

I had been considering ear pinning surgery for several years but hadn't the courage to follow up. However, after searching online for where I could have this procedure I contacted Precision Surgery for more details. I received a reply the same day with details of the surgery, costs and aftercare. I was pleasantly surprised with all of the information and booked a consultation on 18th October. Mr George & his assistant put me at ease straight away. Mr George went on to explain everything in more detail pointing out any possible issues and listened to my concerns with patience & understanding. My surgery was booked for 15th November. I was in clinic for approximately 1hr 45mins. The atmosphere was relaxed, informal with background music of my choice also stress balls offered which I felt I didn't need. Following the initial discomfort of anaesthetic I didn't feel any pain at all, in fact I almost fell asleep. As expected I had a couple of uncomfortable nights but after that no problems whatsoever. A follow up appointment was arranged.
I have absolutely no regrets having this procedure, it's made a huge difference to my self confidence and i would highly recommend Mr George at Precision to anyone who is considering Pinnaplasty or any other procedures offered at his clinic.
