Mr George is a Consultant at the Birmingham Hand Centre, where he is Director of the Hand and Peripheral Nerve Fellowship Programme, and Medical Director of Precision Surgery Clinic. He completed his plastic surgical training in the North West in 2019, holds a Master’s in Surgical Sciences with distinction from the University of Edinburgh, and completed a peripheral nerve fellowship in Birmingham. Privately, he specialises in eyelid (blepharoplasty) and ear (pinnaplasty) surgery, alongside minor plastic and hand surgery.
He is also the founder and Director of SHaRPN, which runs surgical education courses; its YouTube channel has over 10,000 subscribers and more than half a million views.

Our Procedures & Prices
Consultations: £200 for cosmetic (eyelid and ear) and hand surgery; £150 for lumps and bumps, where needed. The consultation fee is redeemable against the price of your surgery if you go ahead.

Excision of Skin Lesion/Mole
Full thickness excision of mole with sutures.
Cyst Removal
Removal of cyst, price dependent on size.
Lipoma Removal
Excision of lipoma – fatty lumps that can be deep to muscle and need more dissection, anaesthetic and time.
Tattoo Removal
Surgical excision of a tattoo.

Steroid Injection – 1 Session
To treat one small or minor keloid scar.

How much does a consultation cost?

Do I always need a consultation?
A consultation is required for eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), prominent ear correction (pinnaplasty), and carpal tunnel or trigger finger surgery, and can be face to face or virtual. Most skin lesion, cyst and lipoma procedures can be quoted from a photo sent via WhatsApp or the enquiry form.
Can I spread the cost?
Yes. Finance is available through Klarna, subject to approval: pay in 30 days or in 3 interest-free instalments. A deposit of £50–£200, depending on the procedure, secures your date.
Will it hurt?
Procedures are performed under local anaesthetic, so you should not feel pain during surgery. Once the anaesthetic wears off after a few hours, any discomfort is usually settled with regular over-the-counter painkillers such as paracetamol and ibuprofen.
How much time off work will I need?
It depends on the procedure, your job and your recovery. As a guide: none after steroid injections; a few days after shave or small mole excisions; around a week after small cyst removal or earlobe reconstruction; and up to two weeks after larger procedures such as pinnaplasty, blepharoplasty, large lipoma removal or carpal tunnel surgery.
When are stitches removed?
If you have non-dissolvable stitches, they are usually removed after about one week on the face and around two weeks elsewhere on the body.
How soon can I be seen?
Patients are usually seen within 1–2 weeks of their enquiry, with surgery possible in the same timeframe.
