Mr. Samuel George is the director of the Hand and Peripheral Nerve Fellowship Programme and works in the busiest and biggest Hand and Peripheral Nerve Surgery department in Europe, the Birmingham Hand Centre. Currently the main trainer for the nationally designated Advanced Training Post in hand surgery in the West Midlands and the director of the highly regarded Hand and Nerve fellowship program at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham. He has authored three books and over forty publications in the fields of peripheral nerve, hand, and plastic surgery.

Mr. George is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Orthoplastic Surgery and has presented at more than 70 national and international conferences. His love of teaching is evident in the MSc curricula he teaches at the Universities of Edinburgh and Birmingham, where he lectures at the medical school and conducts courses across the United Kingdom. He is also on the board of education for the Global Nerve Foundation.
